INTRODUCTION:
The Ola-Oluwa Local Government came into being in May 1989 when the old Iwo Local Government was split into three, namely Ayedire, Iwo and Ola-oluwa by the then Military President, General Ibrahim Babngida.
The Local Government is blessed with a good location. It shares boundaries with Ejigbo Local Government in the north and east, with Afijio Local Government in the south east and Iwo Local Government is located partly in the forest and savannah zones. |
